::Audioblog - An interview with Alan Hirsch about his upcoming book and the Forge National Summit: Dangerous Stories

Had a chance to catch up with my boss, mentor and friend, Alan Hirsch today. He has just submitted the manuscript for his second book (a follow on to "The Shaping of things to come") and I know is not a little relieved about it. I asked him if I could interview him in order to give us a bit of a "heads up" regarding what to expect.

I found it really hard to hear this post and finally gave up. I know it's already 11Mb, but it might be worth bumping up the quality if you can...

It was a shame the quality was so poor Steve, I just gave up.

thanks for the interview - good info. is anyone working on a transcript? I know there are bloggers out there looking for one (still on dialup bandwidth). Willing to help if needed.

No there are no plans for a transcript (although I am looking to do some more interviews at the conference), if you are interested I would be more than happy to post it up here.

sure - i'll give it a go. do you have a higher quality version. this one fades in and out and you lose a lot of the content.

Also out of interest – you have a link to a City Wesleyan church – any particular connection? I used to be part of a Weso church and know some of the still current members/ leaders – cheers

please post more interviews.

i had a couple of goes of listening to this one, but really couldn't make out the dialogue.

Here’s a link to a transcript of Stephen Saids interview with Alan Hirsch. It's not complete; there are words and sentences missing. I have also added info in [brackets] where the dialogue was a little confusing. If you can add/ modify to improve on accuracy - go for it.

i was not able to hear the conversation sorry i will try another time

Yeah, sorry about that. We have rectified this and all future Podcasts will be of a good quality.

Here’s an 'UPDATED' link to a transcript of Stephen Saids interview with Alan Hirsch. Sorry for the change, have recently converted over to WP and couldn't get permalinks to link with old ones.
